Other than the original sonic, the hedgehog streets of rage would have to classify itself as being the definitive reason to own a Sega Genesis. A fan of platform beatem up games and you own a Genesis. Streets of rage should be the first game in your collection. It's a no brainer, and a sincerely must have no excuses.

"Streets of Rage" is a classic run, punch, and kick type of game with the sounds and music that make Sega what it is. Crisp action and that help from a distance police cannon helps alot. Can be one or two players cooperatively for additional fun, the action never stops. The bosses can be difficult, but with a clear head you can figure out the patterns.
